Coconut Chutney

1/2 bji kelapa parut
3-5 ulas bawang putih
10 ulas bawang merah kecil.
sedikit halia
chili hijau ikut kepedasan yang diingini
1 tangkai daun kari
garam secukup rasa
sedikit je asam jawa - buang biji ambil isinya.
1 tsp biji sawi
1tsb halba
sedikit chili kering dipotong kecil.
1 tangkai daun kari
minyak utk menumis.

Cara-caranya
1. Goreng tanpa minya kelapa parut bersama daun kari sebentar je.
2. Blender kelapa parut, bawang merah, bawang putih, halia, chili, garam dan asam jawa bersama sedikit air sehingga blend well.
3. Panaskan minyak, tumis biji sawi, halba, let it pop for a while, add curry leaves and dried chilies, add the blended coconut stir well for a few minutes.
4. Ready to be served. excellent side dish for thosai and idli's.

green chutney is normally gunakan coriander leaves (daun ketumbar) or daun pudina,

daun pudina/daun ketumbar
bawang merah
halia
bawang putih
green chilies
yogurt (klu ada) klu xde gunakan isi asam jawa

you can either heat the daun pudina or otherwise. blend bersama all other ingredients to a smooth portion. salt to taste and ready to serve
